Our Highland Giving Tree is now up just inside the front entrance to the school. If you want to anonymously purchase a Christmas gift for a Highland student in need of a special blessing this holiday season, please stop in the school as soon as possible to select an ornament off the tree. Gifts (approx value $25) are due back in the school office UNWRAPPED by Thursday, November 30th with the paper ornament attached.
The Giving Tree is meant to help parents provide a fun gift for their student this Christmas. If students need clothes, they can visit Hangers, the EVSC Clothing Bank, one time per school year. If food support is needed, our Friday Friends take home a bag of food from the Tri-State Food Bank every Friday. Assistance with these programs is available through our counselor, Mrs Meyerholtz. If you have any extra travel size shampoo, conditioner, or soap around your house from you last hotel stay, please send them into the school office. We will be collecting travel size and full size body care items until Christmas.
